The WG300's exclusive, patented tool-free chain replacement and auto-tensioning system eliminate the headaches faced with most other chain saws. You'll never again worry about whether the chain blade is tight and secure.
The auto-tension system includes a single, oversized knob that secures the bar and chain and maintains proper tension during operation--automatically. The WORX auto-tensioning system also works to extend bar and chain life by eliminating any chance of over-tightening.
What's more, all-metal dogs at the base of the long, 14-inch bar help add stability during cutting, while an easy-to-lubricate sprocket on the bar nose helps preserve the life of the tool.
Powerful enough for your toughest jobs, the WG300 produces an exceptional 3.0 peak horsepower.
Gas-Free, Hassle-Free Operation
The WORX WG300 is powered by electricity, so it produces no noxious emissions. Different from gas-powered chain saws, the WG300 doesn't require you to mix oil and gas or deal with difficult startups. And unlike the competition, the WG300 features an automatic oiler that provides constant lubrication to both the bar and chain. Just as all WORX models, the WG300 is equipped with a 6.75-ounce oil reservoir with an oil level indicator.
Designed for Safety and Comfort
The WORX WG300 includes a built-in safety brake that stops the chain in seconds when improper contact is made, protecting you in the event of kickback. Additionally, a rubber over-molded rear handle and ergonomic full-wrap front handle provide optimum operator control and comfort.
What's in the Box
WORX WG300 Chain Saw, one scabbard, and one quart of chain oil.

WORX WG300 14-Inch 3 HP 14 Amp Electric Chain Saw Reviews
59 of 60 people found the following review helpful ![]() By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: WORX WG300 14-Inch 3 HP 14 Amp Electric Chain Saw (Lawn & Patio) Due to a recent storm, I was in the market for a chain saw to get rid of some downed trees. I have three battery powered chain saws from Black & Decker (the hand-held, the pole version, and the Alligator) that have proven to be very, very handy in pruning limbs. But, while they are great for limbs up to 4 inches in diameter, and can be pressed into action for 6 to 7 inch limbs, they throw in the towel when it comes to a 12+ inch tree.So the search started. I wanted to stay with an electric model since I use it so infrequently. Read some great reviews for the Poulan Pro400E, but it has an 18 inch bar that seemed to be is overkill for what I need. Plus, the user's manual stated that they don't recommend longer than a 50 foot extension, even in 12 gauge. But, I liked the fact that it had an inertial blade brake - kickback can be a real pain (both figuratively and literally). Looked at several 14 and 16 inch models, but none of them had a blade brake system, which I... Read more |

I do not use a chainsaw very much around the house so I decided on a new electric chainsaw. I liked the looks and features of the 14" Worx chainsaw and ordered the saw on-line. When it arrived, I decided to give it a try on a small unproductive fruit tree in the back yard. After pouring in the chain oil and connecting the 100' extension cord, I pressed the proper buttons to power the saw. Nothing happened. I double checked everything, but still the saw did not work. I called Amazon.com customer service to report the problem. I took them up on their offer to send another saw. I was surprised on how easy it was to negotiate the replacement of this saw with another. Amazon provided everything needed to return the saw at no cost to me. Received the replacement and sent back the first saw. Preped the replacement saw as before and pressed the proper buttons. Again nothing happened. This was highly unusual to have two defective saws in a row. There had to be something about this... Read more 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful

This replaced a tough 17 yr old Wen 14" that stopped working. Look at a bunch of saws including Wen then went with this WORX 14". Wen is still using the same old screw adjustment design for chain tension that never really worked great. WORX uses a large knob to tension the chain that's much easier to use and functions well. The motor on this WORX 14" saw is powerful and can be used with a 100' 12/3 SJTW extension cord. The saw is fantastic for re-cutting large pieces of firewood that came too big for the wood stove we heat with.
The overall design of this saw is solid and a definite upgrade over cheapy saws costing less yet saves $ versus the Makita UC3530A and the Husqvarna 316E.
