This is a great little saw that I use for cutting up trees and limbs up in the mountains by my cabin as far as the extension cord will reach. I bought it used to add to my gas 357xp chain saw and my 326 pole saw. I have made a lot of money trimming trees, cutting down trees for my customers and added this saw to my collection and really like it. It's true that it isn't as strong as my gas saw, but don't be fooled by it's size - this thing really rips through a 10" tree like butter as long as you keep the chain sharp. An excellent saw - for as long as it worked. When it stopped working - after about 2 hours of not too strenuous use - it would mp longer start when plugged in. I called to find out that my only choice was to fix (maybe a blown fuse?), I was told that my only option was to return for a refund, that no repairs were possible, and that there is NO MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. Big surprise, big disappointment. Will go back to one of the lesser quality, but American options. Husqvarna 316E

I bought this saw because of the Husqvarna reputation for quality. After less than 2 hours of use, it didn't work. I took it to a tool repair shop , where they told me the motor did not have conductivity, and that it wasn't worth fixing because to replace the motor would cost almost $200. After this experience, I will never buy a Husqvarna product again.
